Description: Our dedicated team of researchers at Skills House has successfully conducted extensive data collection as part of the largest-scale study on the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector, commissioned by the World Bank. Our focus was on covering the TVET sector in Iraqi Kurdistan, where we conducted approximately 40 interviews and 20 focus group discussions with various stakeholders.

The primary objective of the study was to gain a comprehensive understanding of the TVET sector in Iraqi Kurdistan, examining its effectiveness, challenges, and opportunities. The data collection process involved engaging with different actors within the sector, including public and private TVET centers, employers from various industries, as well as current students and graduates.
