Course Name: UX Research & Prototyping

Course Description: This course focuses on three stages of system development. First, it covers remote and in-person research skills to uncover user needs. In doing so, it introduces tools to collect quantitative data online and demonstrates how to carry semi-structured interviews. Second, it teaches how to design prototypes of interactive systems, using the prototyping tool Balsamiq, that address the needs of users. Third, it explains guidelines of carrying out usability testing to evaluate interactive prototypes and furthermore, teaches how to write usability testing reports. During this course, trainees are required to work on individual projects to apply the knowledge and skills gained and to present the progress of projects on regular basis.
